The holding of the III International Festival "Park Kievan Rus" will promote domestic tourism of Ukraine - it is planned that this cultural event will attract about 300 thousand visitors this year.
According to festival organizers, the author of the project "Park Kievan Rus', the president of charity organization "Slavic fund" Vladimir Yanchenko noted that in order to attract tourists to the festival program it is planned to involve more than 10 thousand artists from Ukraine, CIS countries, Germany, Poland, France, Canada, USA and Australia.
The participants of the festival will transform into characters of warriors, knights, beautiful ladies, wizards, jesters, princes, nomads and the Vikings. Best in Europe stunt performers, theater and circus performers will present their shows.
"The unique atmosphere, outdoor activities - are the combination that conquers the most demanding tourist. Theatre performances, stunt performances, bands of different music genres, folk customs, archer tournaments and a separate program for children - are only a small list of entertainment, which this year will be offered to guests of the Park "- he believes.
Furthermore Yanchenko noted that due to visiting such cultural objects "people get to know the history of their country, begin to take pride in it, become more patriotic."
He also stressed that the main event in the Park "will take place this year on the medieval arena, which experts call the best in Europe. Also the tents, old cuisine will be accommodated on the festival area. Those interested in details of the history of Ancient Kiev can order excursion programs.
"Nobody has said about such experience of large scale projects. We want to make a visit to "Park Kievan Rus" an important and desirable event for every citizen of Kiev and for the guests of the capital", - stressed Yanchenko.
As previously reported this year "Park Kievan Rus" will be the longest festival in Ukraine and throughout the world. |
