The Ministry of Health warned about the danger of tick bites. Tick bites may cause such diseases as Lyme borreliosis (Lyme disease), Tick-borne encephalitis, and Marseilles fever, reported the press service of the Ministry of Health.
The first symptoms of Lyme disease are a red spot on the tick suction, headache, hardened neck muscles, aches throughout the body and lethargy. If you do not provide treatment at an early stage, the disease can cause damage to different organs: skin, joints, muscles, nervous and cardiovascular systems, and even disability. The risk of infection depends on the duration of tick suction: during the day, the chance of infection is quite low, and in the end of the third day it is close to 100%.

For the past year, the demand for primary housing market has been more than tripled. According to SV Development, in September 2011, the people of Kiev bought 733 apartments in unfinished buildings. A year ago for the first month of autumn, the number of transactions on the primary market of the capital has amounted to 228.
"Apartments costing up to $ 100 thousand are best sold. Small one-bedroom in new buildings of economy class are in great demand", - says Anatoly Shakhnovsky, the president of IDC, "Cascade".
Public confidence in the primary market has increased. The developers offer buyers the apartments in ready houses, or houses close to completion. The number of banks - primary lenders - is increasing. However, the rates are still high - 16.7% in local currency. The developers say that in order to restore demand for housing, bank interest should not exceed 10%. "In the country, there is no cheap hryvnia resource, and the interest rates on mortgages offered by the banks, are not interesting for the buyers", - says Alexey Hovorun, the deputy director of construction company "TMM". The level of sales has not been increased because of the loans but due to the installments, which the developer provides to the customers, said Inna Brechko, the director of the development company "BildGrupp-Management".

At the seaside you should wear glasses with polarized lenses, in the mountains - mirrored sunglasses, and if driving - half darkened glasses. Everyone should protect the eyes from ultraviolet rays everywhere, but not many know that it is especially important for the residents of the Crimea and the guests of the peninsula to take care of eye health during the hot summer days.
The reason is an increased solar activity in the southern region.
The sun has a very deleterious effect on sight at the South Coast.
A long walk on a clear day may cause "sparks" in the eyes, or, conversely, the "image" can get suddenly darkened, and you may get headache.
These symptoms indicate that the retina has got much ultraviolet radiation with wavelengths ranging from 200 to 400 nanometers.

Easter is not only the most important, but also the most ancient of all Christian holidays.
The main feeling of Easter, in both the East and West - the joy, the joy of victory over death. Christ is risen from the dead: this comes out of the church, addressed to all peoples and all ages! Since ancient times, starting from the second century, Easter celebrations continued for 50 days, and all Sundays after Easter are considered paschal.
But especially the Western Church considers the first 8 days the most important, existing since the 4th century when the Church has devoted special attention to those Christians that were baptized on Easter night. Easter holiday was celebrated in apostolic times. Early Church united two memories - the suffering and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and devoted the celebrated the days before the triumph of the Resurrection of Christ and those following it. Easter is a movable feast, without a fixed date in the period from March 22 to April 25. The date is determined according to a special table, Paschal, which indicates the date of Easter for many years to come.

According to the old Ukrainian tradition, prior and serious preparation was very important for the proper celebration of Christmas and New Year.
It was always necessary to keep a reaped Ray-Didukh since the time of the harvest, which was made of the stems of different cereals (rye, wheat, oats, etc.) and soft sweet-smelling hay.
Before the holidays, almost all important work on the farm was completed and the houses were thoroughly cleaned - rooms were whitewashed and the chimney was painted with flowers, new or well-washed tablecloths, sackcloths and towels were laid.
People tried to buy new things (new clothes) for all family members and new tableware (makitras, pots, pokers and makogons).
