Horlivka, also spelled as Gorlivka (Ukrainian: Горлівка; Russian spelling is Gorlovka Russian: Горловка) is a city in the Donetsk Oblast (province) of eastern Ukraine. As of 2001, the city's population was 292,000. It is a coal mining and chemical industry center.
