According to Deputy Mayor Irene Kilchytska, the need to open a new office is due to the fact that the number of premature babies weighing 500 grams has been icreasing from year to year.
- Now in the capital's hospital № 1 the doctors can themselves provide all necessary assistance to such children - noted Kilchytska.
- Intensive Care Unit is designed for the simultaneous stay of six babies in it. The equipment for the intensive care unit in hospital number 1 cost about 420 thousand UAH, third of money - is the money donated by charitable organizations.
