SOCHI, May 4. Two Ukrainian companies of shipbuilding industry can be integrated into Russian United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC), told the head of the USC Roman Trotsenko at the meeting with Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.
"Working with our Ukrainian colleagues, we are considering the integration of two major Ukrainian enterprises - "Zarya-Mashproekt", this is a very strong factory of producing of ship turbines, which can also produce gas turbines, and Feodosia factory "More (Sea)" - a large plant on production of vessels of light alloys and aluminum.
Both - Ukraine's state-owned enterprises, they now have difficulty in work load, and integrating with them into the USC, we could solve the issue, "- said Trotsenko.
From his part, Putin charged to take the job under control and "take a direct part in the elaboration of these issues for a business association where there is interest from both sides."
Trotsenko noted that Ukraine is the main importer, which supplies the components and systems for ships to Russia.
"More than 6,000 items of miscellaneous equipment we receive from the Ukraine and a part of this equipment is important to us, or unique. We can say that without Ukraine, our shipbuilding would experience serious difficulties in production of that technology, which it produces," - he added. |
