U.S. and Ukraine are satisfied with strong bilateral ties and work within the Interstate Commission on Strategic Partnership.
The U.S. president hopes to discuss with the new president of Ukraine at the first meeting a wide range of issues of mutual interest, including non-proliferation perspective, the impact of the global financial crisis, energy and military cooperation", - as it was said in a message of press service on Saturday.
Summit on Nuclear Safety will be held in Washington on April 12-13, the participants will be the leaders of 47 countries.
