Today, on February 21, Shevchenko's district court of Kyiv reached a verdict for two women-activists belonging to the movement FEMEN Alexandra Shevchenko and Eugenia Krayzman, detained last week during the campaign against "sex-offender Berlusconi".
As reported by Korrespondent.net in the press service FEMEN, Court arrested Eugenia Krayzman for one day, and Alexandra Shevchenko - for two.
"Haughty judge has stood for police officers who disrupted a peaceful rally and illegally detained the participants, - as reported by FEMEN. - The judge has demonstrated deafness to the logical arguments of defendants and lackey dedication to the police present at the meeting".
However, the movement has promised to continue struggle against "the criminal actions of the police and courts".
"We will continue to work, we will pursue criminal Ukrainian authorities even more fiercely, bringing it to its inevitable shameful death" - said the leader of FEMEN, Anna Gutsol. |
