Ukrainian ski jumper Vitaly Shumbarets was taken to hospital, badly landing during a training session on Sunday, reports the AP.
As noted, a flying skier, lost his balance during a flight on a big jump, landed with face in snow and rolled down the slope. Shumbarets escaped serious injury, but lost his consciousness for little time.
At the Olympics a ski flying team event remains only, but Ukrainian team will not take part in it.
