The president-elect of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych considers the nomination of ex-head of the National Bank, who took the third place on the presidential elections in the country, Sergei Tigipko, the former parliament speaker Arseniy Yatsenyuk and one of the leaders of the Party of Regions Mykola Azarov as contenders for the post of Prime Minister.
"The final selection will be made later in the process of forming of a coalition of factions in the Verkhovna Rada", - said in an interview to Ukrainian TV channels Yanukovych, whose words are quoted by news agency UNIAN.
On February, 14 the Central Election Commission officially announced the leader of the Party of Regions Viktor Yanukovych the elected president of Ukraine.
On February, 16 the acting Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko appealed the results of the second round of elections in the Supreme Administrative Court of Ukraine (SACU), citing the fact that the polling day February 7 was marked by massive fraud.
But on Saturday, speaking at a meeting of SACU, Tymoshenko said that she withdrew her claim. This decision Tymoshenko explained by the fact that she was actually refused to examine the evidence base of the claim, and therefore she saw no point in continuing the case.
The court granted Tymoshenko's request and discontinued the lawsuit.
