Gaspra - is the name from the Greek word "Aspro" - which means white. The village on the southern coast of Crimea. Gaspra is the part of Great Yalta.
Swallow's Nest is located in Gaspra, it is an architectural monument in 1912 built in the style of a Medieval castle, designed by architect A. Sherwood. Thanks to the original architectural solutions ofthe building, "Swallow's Nest" is the most famous buildings of the Crimea and is its symbol.
Palace is located on Avrora rock of the Cape of the bay Ai-Todor. In early 1914 restaurant "Lastochkino gnezdo (Swallow's Nest)" was opened here, and later tourist bases were here, for a long time the building was in poor condition and not used. Restoration of the monument began in 1968, now here is an expensive restaurant of Italian cuisine "Swallow's Nest".
