Gurzuf - is a small urban village on the southern coast of Crimea (18 km from Yalta). Extremely favorable natural conditions, the beauty of landscapes, exotic vegetation, the southern warm sea, an abundance of sun won him such popularity that it is difficult to correlate with the size of the village with a population of 12 thousand people.
This land keeps the traces of ancient cultures of different peoples. Rising to the east of Gurzuf the mountain Ayu-Dag, like the rest of its neighbourhood, protects the remnants of prehistoric sites, which count more than 30 thousand years, the ancient temple, the Gothic churches of the Byzantine fortress, the Genoese and Turkish constructions. Even in our days on the pass Gurzufskoe Sedlo (saddle) unique sanctuary was opened, which serve many people, inhabited the coast and mountains of Crimea, for almost two thousand years.
