The village Peschanoe is located to the south of Nikolayevka, 24 km to west of Bakhchisarai, at the mouth of the river Alma, which flows into the Black Sea, it has a good sand and pebble beach.
Surroundings of Peschanoe are quite picturesque: in the relief the proximity of the mountains is felt, the valley of the River Alma is almost entirely covered with orchards of apple and pear trees, and many other kinds of trees grow in villages, there are also small lowtrunk woods. In the lowland of Alma Ust-Alma Scythian ancient settlement is excavated. They say that it is possible to find a kind of special semi-precious pebble in the estuary.
