Rakhov district - is the most mountainous place in Ukraine and is distinguished by its unique natural objects. Calling card is a massif of Montenegro with the highest point of Ukraine - Mount Goverla (2061 meters)

There is the entry of the river Tisza near the river Chyornaya Tisza. In front of Montenegro Massif in a southern direction there are Rakhivsky mountains - a part of Maramorsky Crystalline Massif. The highest part of Svidovets with the highest peak Bliznitsa covers Svidovetsky Massif. According to the popularity of this region in the Ukrainian Carpathians it is second after Montenegro. Growing here edelweisses decorate the legendary Bliznitsa.

Rakhivskyi region has very good conditions for the development of winter sports. There are several ski lifts here: city Rakhov, city Menchul (lift with length of 800 m, vertical drop 230m), village Bogdan, town Borschevitsa (lift with length of 1230m, vertical drop 310m), and of course - everyone knows Dragobrat.

Famous places of interest for tourists are architectural monuments such as the wooden churches in Yasin (XVI cent.), in  Srednee Vodyanoe (Middle Water) (1428), Lazeshchyna (XVIII cent.) and Delovoe (business) (XVIII cent.).

Archaeological sites - there was a settlement of primitive people in the area of Belaya Tserkov (White Church), 100-40 ths years BC.

Near Rachov in the village Delovoe on the road in the direction of Uzhgorod there is a tablet and the surveyor's mark, symbolizing the geographical center of Europe.

Rahov famous as a tourist center and as a town, which attracts lovers of winter sports such as alpine skiing or snowboarding.
