Svalyava

Svalyava - is a famous resort. There are about one hundred mineral springs, which are approximately one-third of all sources of Transcarpathia.

SvalyavaThe main rhealth product of the resort - is its sodium bicarbonate-carbonated mineral water "Polyana Kvasova" and "Luzhanska", "Glade-Kupel", which makes the rest in Svalyava very popular.

Svalyava region is located in the mountainous zone of the Carpathians, it has many beautiful places. Climbing the mountain Dvuglavy Stoy, you can see half of the region. Crystal streams of the river Borzhava, Latoritsa, Svalyavka and Piney rush down, three of which originate in Svalyava area.

Medical base of sanatoriums is equipped with modern facilities. Initial studies of mineral water from Luzhansky source in the town of Luga on the shores of Big Pinya were held in 1775, first mineral water was used for making wine. Mineral water "Luzhanska-3" and "Luzhanska-4" are used for treatment in sanatoriums "Kvitka Poloniny" and "Kristalevo Dzherelo".
