Yaremcha - is a small cozy town on the river Prut, located in the heart of the Carpathians, on the territory of the Carpathian National Natural Park and Biosphere Reserve. Perfectly clean air and water, have never known industrial waste, there is the fragrance of endless coniferous forests and healthy natural foods here that can give you good health.

In the 19 th century this place was a favorite land for having holidays of rich people coming from Poland and Austria-Hungary. The residents from Warsaw, Krakow, Lvov came here. In Soviet times, the resort Yaremcha was the place where there were a lot of sanatoriums for children and adults.

Here, simple, polite and very kind people live.

So it became the custom here, to meet visitors with kindness and to enjoy each new guest. There is practically no crime in the city but nevertheless - a big state of police. The garlands of light are lit and a lot of young people of very decent behavior walks in the evening along the main street.

Public transportation is represented by trains and minibuses. From here you can reach all the tourist destinations of the Carpathians. However, in the peak season transport, nevertheless, is very crowded, especially one that carries guests to the main ski resort - to Bukovel.

Taxis are very helpful, for about 10 dollars you can reach all major places of pilgrimage for tourists: to Bukovel - for skiing, and Vorohtu - jump in the ski jumping and admire the magnificent mountain scenery on Yablonitskiy Pass near the village of Yablonitsa. There are lifts in Yaremche, but they work if the weather is favorable - when there is a lot of snow.

And for lovers of folklore it will be interesting to go to Kolomiya and visit the museum Huzulschyna, where a rich and interesting collection of household objects and works of art are represented - the traditional handicrafts of these places. Talent and the highest skill, represented in furniture, dishes, carpets which will not leave different anybody. 

And in a hundred meters from the museum is a cult museum of Hutsulshchyna "Pysanka". The art of painting on an solid eggshell was spread throughout Europe since pagan times. Nowadays you have the opportunity to plunge into the philosophy of life, learning the deep symbolism of the painting and simply enjoying the vast and beautiful collection of the museum.
In good weather, take a ride about the Golden Ring of the Carpathians: Yaremcha, Vorokhta, Verkhovyna, Kosov, Kolomiya - you will not regret it, it is very nice!

There are quite a lot of interesting places to visit in the Yaremcha.
Here you can admire the picturesque waterfalls, walk through the mountains trail of Alexa Dovbusha, Hutsulshchyna folk hero, Robin Hood of these places, visit the museum and ski, using lifts.

Students become acquainted with tourists on the streets and enthusiastically offer them small, but nice excursions: to accompany you to a mountain with a stunning panorama of wonderful places, to see deers in a aviary farm nearby, to hike the forest trails, known only to local children.

Of course, there are tour agencies here - the constant companion of the resort towns. They offer diverse tours and cover all the areas of tourist interest. They also offer excursions and entertainment programs as well as the hotels themselves:

Rafting - rafting on the rapids wayward Prut (spring and summer). Horseback ATV. The mountains on a bicycle - for extreme enthusiasts and professionals. On the asphalt on a bicycle - for lovers of soft bike ride on the road. Hiking and horseback trips into the mountains during the dry season (spring-autumn). Sleigh rides, a horse, skiing, snowboarding, snegokaty - winter J.

Even just a short walk in the forest, which is five minutes from your hotel will give you health and good spirits, it is - Carpathian Mountains!

Folk festivals are very popular here. Milanka takes place from 18 to 19 January, Shchedrivki and Kolyadki are held at Christmas; and in summer, the last Sunday of July is the day the city. In 2007 Yaremcha will celebrate its 220 anniversary. This year's the meeting of Yaremche hutsuls from all over the world will be held  - it will be an unforgettable celebration with folk costumes and traditional folk songs and dances.

Tourists are attracted by a well-developed infrastructure of Yaremcha: a lot of food shops, a supermarket (where, unfortunately, it is not always possible to pay by credit card), a food market, point of photographer service, bookstore and department store with a good broad range of goods, pharmacy, modern hospital, an opportunity to draw insurance.

And two large souvenir market are full of such diverse products as souvenirs, and useful in everyday life stylish and beautiful things. The sellers can not only tell you everything they know about your product, but also are willing to tell about the history and traditions of these places.

Handicraft of Hutsulshchyna adorn the museums of Europe and America, the interiors of private apartments. Carpets, jewelry boxes, plates, ceramics, leather, metal, original and traditional folk musical instruments, clothing, jewelry handmade embroidery, a full set of equipment for the bathhouse or sauna - will be a memorable gift for friends of the Carpathians, and you will provide long service and will recall the glorious vacation.

Prices in hotels and in the private sector of Yaremche are significantly lower than in hotels of Bukovel at the same level of service: comfortable rooms with modern bathrooms, refrigerators, satellite TV, tastefully furnished with new, original wooden furniture mainly locally produced, saunas, billiards and table tennis, as well - the hotels, excursions entertainment program - all this awaits you at Yaremche.

And to get to the best Ukrainian mountain ski resort of European class called Bukovel is possible for only 50 minutes by shuttle bus or 20-30 minutes by a taxi.

You can easily get to Vorokhta by train or shuttle bus for a half-hour.
