In Pereyaslav-Khmelnytsky, the camera crew of "Examiner" had to go to the police
The "Examiner" on the New Channel began airing only six months ago, but the crew often had to come across with aggressive reaction. And it is not surprising. Who of the owners of hotels and restaurants would like the situation when a ton of people with cameras are rioting in their kitchens and the rooms, and then reporting on the slightest flaws to millions of Ukrainian citizens? ..
This time an emergency has occurred in Pereyaslav-Khmelnytsky.
On Sunday, the camera crew went to a restaurant recommended by locals.
The citizens assured: there is a good interior and good food in the restaurant, so the "Examiner" went to work optimistically.
But they were stopped at the entrance.
They managed to get in only because Olga Freimut reminded of legal norms under which they are entitled to shoot.
Freimut ordered her dinner and went to wash her hands, and when she returned, one of the employees ordered her and the whole crew to leave the place.
The security guard roughly pulled out the operators, damaging part of equipment.
To protect her rights, TV presenter called the police.
Olga gave a statement to the police in which she asked law-enforcement authorities to make individuals responsible for physical resistance when performing official duties.
The New Channel and "Examiner" will closely monitor the situation to ensure that a criminal proceeding was instituted.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
"Examiner" is a show about Ukrainian service sector.
TV presenter Olga Freimut with her unique and touching inquisitiveness checks each corner of the restaurant where she was kindly let in, or where she entered without special invitation.
"Examiner" has six evaluation criteria: location, interior design, quality of service, cook's proficiency, living comfort, cleanliness and price policy.
Institution which stood all inspections receives the award of "Examiner" - a sign that will adorn the main entrance or the most prominent place in the institution.
